The Vineyard
Almahue, Chile
Among the valleys in Chile, Almahue stands out with its diminutive size of 360 hectares, yet it proudly hosts some of the nation’s oldest vineyards. In 1945, the first Carménère vines took root, now the most ancient in Chile. The cultivation follows the time-honored Massal method, meticulously selecting and propagating superior vines through cuttings.
